THE ART HOUSE is held on the 1st Thursday of every month
Kate Kaiser is the proud mother of Rhapsody & Bucky. When they are not sucking her life force, (which they should be), Kate writes, Kate rewrites, Kate speaks and then calls her poems, songs, monologues into her friends, her shrinks, any body's voicemail (thank you dear friends and dear shrink!). She has written a memoir, Becoming Kate, that captures her spirited journey as a widow where the huge loss and the new role as a single mother, catapulted her (like Kate in Wonderland)into discovering the magic of words, imagination and herself. Kate created a little booklet of one sentence/one moment musings, called Live-a-logs that she gave to friends during April 2008, in honor of national poetry month. She has written thirty songs that she would like other artists to record and she is currently writing Letters To Her Mother. Kate was the Snowball Gala Chairwoman in 2008 for Art House. Kate loves Art House and has made them her homebase for the last six years while she develops her craft. Her website is: www.KateofHoboken.com
