Tris McCall returns to the ‘Sugar Factory’ for JC Fridays | Testa
Tris McCall has worn a lot of hats over the years – journalist, critic, author, musician, songwriter. He’s covered pop music for the Star-Ledger, published a novel, added synth and electric piano to other bands, and released several albums of his own clever, pithy indie-rock.
Live music has been on the back burner for the last few years, but on Friday, Sept. 8, he’ll be back behind his bank of synthesizers at Jersey City’s new Art House Productions theater, revisiting his 2003 album “Shootout at the Sugar Factory” to commemorate its 20th anniversary.
