Performances at Art House serve the performing arts community by providing space, support, and subsidized theater rental rates for performances to non-profit companies and individual performing artists. These performances are presented in Art House’s flexible black box theater at 345 Marin Boulevard in Jersey City, NJ. 

Artists presenting their work at Art House receive time for technical rehearsal and performances:

One-night only performances will have just one technical rehearsal on the afternoon of the performance, between 4 and 7 PM, directly before the performance. 

For productions with multiple performances, technical and dress rehearsals may take place on weekdays before 4 PM, and/or on Saturday mornings before the performances. 

Performances generally take place on weeknight evenings, and on afternoons, evenings, or two-show-days on Saturdays and Sundays.

The Art House staff will review performance inquiries as they are submitted. If they have any follow-up questions or would like to schedule a call to discuss the details, they may contact the prospective renter.
